Tumac Lumber Sells Disdero Lumber Co., LLC and Specialty Wood Products, Inc.
Stoel Rives represented Tumac Lumber Co., Inc., in the recent divestiture of two of the company’s subsidiaries—Disdero Lumber Co., LLC and Specialty Wood Products, Inc. (SWP). BlueLinx Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BXC) acquired Disdero, a distributor of premium specialty wood products headquartered in Clackamas, Oregon, for approximately $96 million. SRS Distribution Inc. acquired substantially all of the assets of SWP, a specialty dealer of premium decking, siding, trim, heavy timber products, and other architectural-grade building materials, for an undisclosed price.
Privately owned Tumac Lumber was founded in Portland, Oregon in 1959 as a wholesale trading company focusing on wood products and later expanding into specialty food, feed, and commodity markets.
The Stoel Rives deal team was led by Bill Clydesdale and Marc Therrien and included Kevin Pearson, Karen O’Connor, Jay Jetter, Bethany Bacci, Steve Moore, Thomas Braun, Pearl Dixon, Halley Huntley, April Stricker, Maya Ward, and Christopher Ishihara.
