Overview

April Stricker practices in Stoel Rives’ Corporate group, where she advises clients on a broad range of business transactions and governance matters. She has guided companies through complex M&A transactions, coordinated cross-border transactions, and assisted with domestic and international corporate governance. She also draws on her background in estate planning and the knowledge gained by earning her Federal Tax Law Certificate to navigate matters at the intersection of tax, corporate, and personal planning.

Before joining Stoel Rives, April was an associate with an Am Law 100 international law firm and paralegal with a small Pacific Northwest law firm. Before entering the legal field, April worked in the food and beverage industry. She served as the General Manager of various local pizza restaurants where her contributions to improved operations resulted in double-digit growth year over year. April also worked in a Willamette Valley wine tasting room, where she provided welcoming guest experiences, educated visitors about Pacific Northwest wines, and supported direct-to-consumer sales. These experiences gave her practical insight into the challenges business owners face and inform her approach to client service.
