Schréder Acquires Outdoor LED Lighting Manufacturer NLS Lighting, LLC

Stoel Rives LLP represented Schréder Lighting LLC in its acquisition of NLS Lighting, LLC, a growing outdoor LED lighting manufacturer located in Southern California. The acquisition is emblematic of Schréder’s continued investment in North America and further expands the company’s presence on the west coast. Terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Founded in 1907 in Belgium, Schréder, which operates in more than 70 countries on six continents and has been present in the North American lighting market since 1992, is the leading independent provider of smart outdoor lighting solutions worldwide.

NLS Lighting, LLC, which was founded in 2014 and is based in Los Angeles, specializes in specification-grade architectural and commercial lighting solutions.

Stoel Rives also represented Schréder in its 2024 acquisition of leading lighting manufacturer Ligman Lighting USA, Inc.

Jason Brauser led the Stoel Rives team that represented Schréder, which included Sabina Wahl and Hailey Stauffer-Person, with assistance from Bethany Bacci, Gabby Hansen, Chris Heuer, Jackie Schimert, Matt Wilmot, Bryan Hawkins, and Aaron Courtney.
