Overview
Jackie Schimert provides strategic counsel to clients on a broad range of federal and state tax issues involving both transactional and tax controversy matters. She helps clients with issues relating to mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and partnership tax, as well as tax audits and other controversies.
With a background in accounting, Jackie excels at financial analysis and quantifying the tax impact of a transaction to clients. Her understanding of financial statements and the regulatory environment gives her a deep understanding of clients’ businesses – both their challenges and opportunities.
