  • Trademark and advertising counsel to a manufacturer of doors and windows with worldwide operations and a portfolio of hundreds of U.S. and foreign trademarks.
  • Submitted comments on behalf of a food manufacturer to the proposed Food & Drug Administration revisions of the Nutrition Panel.
  • Representation of a top manufacturer of food decorations in negotiating and drafting a corporate acquisition, a joint venture, several intellectual property licenses, and numerous customer contracts.
  • Trademark counsel to dozens of wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Ongoing defense and enforcement work, including Trademark Trial and Appeal Board proceedings.
  • Intellectual property counsel for several cosmetics and household products brands.
  • Representation of several apparel and retail companies in negotiating and drafting distribution agreements, co-branding agreements, trademark licenses, website development agreements, web hosting agreements, and other contracts.
  • Trademark counsel for a major regional health insurer. Cleared marks for several new companies, initiatives, and projects.
  • Intellectual property counsel for several Oregon-based health care organizations, including negotiation and drafting of commercial contracts and technology licenses.
  • Trademark counsel to one of the world’s leading aerospace manufacturers.
  • Provided intellectual property, labeling and advertising counsel to a mail-order and online food and beverage retailer with several well-known brands.
  • Intellectual property counsel to regional and national advertising agencies, architectural firms, designers, artists, and authors, including supplier and customer contracts.
  • Intellectual property counsel to two Alaska Native Corporations.
  • Handled FDA compliance and supply chain guarantees for a new canola oil processing facility.
  • Provided legal advice on GMO labeling issues to one of the world’s largest breweries, one of the world’s largest retailers, and other food companies.
  • Intellectual property counsel to several major foundations and nonprofit organizations, including an international organization working to save African elephants and other wildlife from poachers.
  • Developed Chinese manufacturing and supply agreements for several U.S. companies.
  • Developed U.S. sales representative agreements for a cosmetics brand, a prominent international apparel brand, and a gaming device company, among others.
  • Handling U.S. trademark matters for several foreign law firms and their clients.
  • Trademark counsel for an Oscar-winning producer of feature films.
  • Trademark and copyright counsel for a major manufacturer of electronic display solutions.
