Ackley Brands Acquires Columbia Winery and Hogue Cellars from Gallo

Stoel Rives represented Ackley Brands in its acquisition from E. & J. Gallo Winery of Columbia Winery and Hogue Cellars. The terms of the sale were not disclosed.

Ackley Brands is a Seattle-based and family-owned alcohol beverage company with winemaking and brewing and tasting facilities across Oregon and Washington. The acquisition adds two iconic Washington wine brands to Ackley Brands’ extensive beverage portfolio, which includes Montinore Estate, Landlines, Cataclysm, Mac & Jack’s, and others.

The Stoel Rives deal team was led by Duff Bryant and included attorneys Max Fujii, Claire Mitchell, Aaron Courtney, Amanda Hailey, Adam Coady, Anne Glazer, Susan Johnson, Jay Jetter, and Chris Briggs, and paralegal Christjanna Mirgon.
