Stoel Rives' attorneys Barbara Craig, Per Ramfjord and Sarah Stauffer Curtiss review in Law360 a new Fish and Wildlife Service rule that extends the term for programmatic "take" permits under the federal Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. The new rule represents a significant change, since under the current rule programmatic permits for incidental "takes" of bald and golden eagles could extend only for five years.
