Overview
Joshua Gigger is a partner in the Technology and Intellectual Property practice group. Joshua’s practice generally focuses on registering, licensing, and enforcing patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, domain names, and other intellectual property, and the preparation and negotiation of licenses and other commercial agreements. Joshua has significant experience with international trademark clearance, prosecution and enforcement, and global trademark portfolio management. Joshua also has significant experience with agreements relating to the licensing of intellectual property and the development, distribution, and marketing of products, services and technology, including software license agreements, product distribution and supply agreements, sourcing and procurement agreements, consulting agreements and other technology and corporate partnering transactions relating to the e-commerce, healthcare, life sciences, medical device, outdoor products and software industries. Joshua also advises clients on the protection and enforcement of patents, trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets, including litigation in federal courts, UDRP proceedings relating to bad faith registration and use of domain names, and opposition, cancellation, inter partes review, and other proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Joshua was an associate at two prominent firms in San Diego, California.
