Overview
Derek represents clients in mergers and acquisitions, debt financing, and general corporate governance. As a member of the Firm’s Agri Business Industry Group, Derek’s practice includes a particular focus on acquisitions and dispositions in the agriculture and timber industries. His experience includes title review, drafting transaction documents, and documents supporting debt financing transactions.
Derek has significant experience working in the forest products industry, having worked in on-the-ground forest operations including timber harvest and silviculture operations. Derek utilizes this experience to better inform industry clients in timber related transactions.
