Overview
Amber Lee is a regulatory attorney practicing in Stoel Rives’ Energy Development practice group. She routinely advises clients appearing before state and federal agencies and in legislative tribunals. She has an extensive background in ratemaking and regulatory law affecting public utilities and their customers, including permitting energy generation and transmission infrastructure, and she has a particularly strong knowledge of the natural gas utility business.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Amber was the president and CEO of Alias Energy Consulting, where she assisted her clients with all aspects of energy operations and regulatory compliance. She also directed regulatory and legislative affairs for two public utilities in Minnesota. Earlier in her career, Amber worked as a shareholder and attorney at two national law firms and as an attorney for the State of Minnesota Office of Administrative Hearings.
