Alaina Harrington is a litigation attorney who represents clients through every stage of the litigation process. Her practice centers on complex commercial disputes, including conflicts among business owners, contract breaches, business torts, and fiduciary duty claims. Alaina is known for her meticulous approach—she immerses herself in each case, uncovering critical details that drive strategy and results.

Alaina advises clients across a broad spectrum of industries, with particular experience in healthcare and agribusiness. Drawing on her background as general counsel, Alaina translates intricate legal issues into clear, actionable guidance tailored to her clients’ business goals.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Alaina served as general counsel to healthcare organizations across Idaho, Utah, Washington, and Alaska and advised business executives on governance and compliance issues, workplace disputes, and strategic affiliations.

• Spine Institute of Idaho v. Ataraxis, Inc., et al.– Represented the Spine Institute of Idaho in a breach of contract and fraud dispute against its long-time professional employer organization, securing an approximately $6.5 million jury verdict after a two-week trial.
• Represented clients defrauded by business partners, vendors, and third parties in complex commercial schemes
• Successfully filed and argued pretrial motions for punitive damages in cases involving fraud and egregious misconduct
• Represented various clients in relation to COVID-19-related government funding, including issues related to Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan and Employee Retention Tax Credit (ERTC) program
