About Adam

I counsel businesses in diverse industries across a wide range of business and real estate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, contract negotiation and drafting, entity selection and formation, general corporate governance and financing transactions. I also co-lead Stoel Rives’ firm-wide Agribusiness, Food, Beverage and Timber industry group, and clients regularly rely on me to assist them in natural resources and real estate transactions, particularly in the agricultural production and processing industries and in the timber and forest products industries.

I have dedicated over a decade of my career to representing timberland owners and forest products manufacturing businesses in virtually all aspects of their businesses, and I am committed to delivering practical, solutions-oriented counsel to industry clients. Clients regularly entrust me to help them navigate many aspects of their timber and forest products operations, including forest industry mergers and acquisitions, timberland and timber resource transactions, credit and financing transactions, and operational issues affecting their businesses. I regularly help industry clients structure, negotiate and complete purchase and sale transactions, purchase options, easements and right of way agreements, licenses and permits, product sales agreements, log and fiber supply agreements, independent contractor agreements, logging contracts, timber deeds, timber sale contracts, service agreements and other operational agreements. I also provide corporate counsel and general advice regarding other issues facing the timber and forest products industries.

My deep experience leading mixed corporate and real estate transactions allows me to knowledgably and efficiently manage the most important aspects of your transactions and provide a responsive, single point of contact to get results. I focus on understanding my clients’ industries and their motivations for each transaction, which helps me know when to “dig in” on issues and when to say its “good enough.”

Adam has earned the confidence and trust of many clients who rely on him for excellent representation in corporate transactions and a deep understanding of their business.”
