About Jenna

Jenna Poligo is an associate attorney in Stoel Rives’ Litigation group. Jenna’s practice focuses on complex litigation in a variety of industries, and she has experience litigating cases in federal and state courts as well as in arbitration proceedings. Jenna also has experience counseling and assisting clients in drafting consumer-facing documents and counseling clients on information privacy and cybersecurity issues, including data breach incident response.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Jenna was an associate and summer associate at a large law firm in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Jenna was also judicial law clerk to the Honorable Gerald J. Pappert of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in 2015.

  • Represent healthcare provider in defense of claims by former shareholders seeking to void release agreement and obtained complete dismissal of all claims with prejudice at summary judgment.
  • Represent purchaser in failed real estate transaction and secured summary judgment and specific enforcement of purchase and sale agreement on behalf of client.
  • Represented Washington healthcare provider in putative class action alleging violations of Washington’s Charity Care Act and collaborated with litigation team to obtain favorable individual settlement.
  • Counsel and represented businesses regarding data breaches, incident response, breach notification, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Represented individuals in invasion of privacy claims arising from property dispute.

Experience gained prior to joining Stoel Rives

  • Member of litigation team in multi-district litigation civil antitrust action that was favorably resolved for client prior to trial.
  • Member of litigation team that simultaneously managed multiple class actions, individual actions, and arbitrations regarding breach of contract, statutory, and tort claims brought by landowners in royalty disputes.
  • Regularly obtained early resolution in putative class actions and individual actions filed by consumers pursuant to the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and other common law and statutory claims by successfully compelling claims to arbitration and/or obtaining early dismissal of actions on motions to dismiss.
  • Represented pro-bono a client sentenced to life without the possibility of parole as a juvenile in his resentencing and subsequent release from custody.
