Overview
Cindee Kaufman is a paralegal in the project finance section of Stoel Rives’s Corporate group with more than 25 years of combined education and experience supporting attorneys and financial professionals in corporate law, real estate transactions, securities, and regulatory compliance. Cindee has extensive experience managing high-volume commercial and residential matters, coordinating with brokers, investment advisors, lenders, and licensing authorities when needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout all stages of a transaction.
Cindee’s experience includes entity formation and governance, due diligence, lending and financing documentation, private offerings, and complex capital structures. She has prepared underwriting packages for commercial development and construction projects exceeding $100 million and has significant experience with SEC filings, corporate governance matters, and AML and KYC compliance.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Cindee was a paralegal with Washington Capital Management, The Nathanson Group, and Common Sense Systems, all in Seattle, and with several other firms in Texas and Utah. She is the owner of a professional services firm.

- Achieved first occurrence of securities issuance registration (CUSIP/ISN) on in-ground assets such as gold, silver, and silica through revisions and adaptation of private offering memorandum with 100% success rate in registration for offering submitted thereafter.
- Successfully negotiated and maintained ongoing below market rates for U.S. Bank for custodian and administrative services for Cayman Island feeder fund.
- Improved cost, productivity, and efficiency in managing 321 plus entities through automation and database implementation. Successfully reduced cost to clients by 78% and reduced man hours from a full-time position to a few hours a month.
- Secured California Lender License for six ERISA client investment entities using innovative approach to overcome lack of regulatory guidance applicable to large investor group ownership structure.
