So in the manufacturing space, we see clients who are dealing with a number of different types of disputes. It might be a vendor dispute, a supplier dispute, or it could be a long-term strategic partnership where the contract has been in place for 10 years. Circumstances change, and it is a challenge to know whether that contract can stay in place. So we get involved at many different stages. Oftentimes, it is truly just to find the right solution. Although I am a litigator, litigation is not necessarily the right solution for every client. So oftentimes, we will step in on the very front end where there is simply a dispute between the parties. The client does not want it to go into litigation. They bring us in as litigators to make sure that we can find a resolution before it hits that point. Sometimes, we will spend a huge amount of time working through the documents, through the witnesses, and a resolution process, including mediation, business meetings, to try and see how the companies can continue to work together, short of going to court; that is a real pleasure to do. It is great to be able to help our clients find a way to resolve conflict and use our court process when needed, but also use the benefit and the knowledge of that process to resolve disputes before they even hit that point.
