In the technology space, when a market is uncertain, we still see intellectual property disputes. That is in large part because clients are in need of enforcing and protecting their IP rights regardless of the market. For some companies, it is their most valuable asset. I work with companies both on the front end in helping them to do an audit of their assets and ensure that they are being appropriately protected, but for the most part, we get involved in litigation; that is on both sides of the V. We will file litigation to ensure enforcement and protection, and we also defend when our clients get sued for alleged infringement.
