Overview
Sarah Clarke is an energy transaction attorney who supports the development, financing, and sale of renewable energy projects. Sarah’s practice focuses on drafting and negotiating project development agreements, loan and financing documents, and other key commercial contracts, as well as overseeing contract compliance and asset management for renewable energy portfolios. Sarah regularly advises on solar project sale transactions and supports clean energy investment activities, bringing a practical, business-oriented perspective informed by prior in-house and industry experience.
Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Sarah served as corporate counsel for a clean energy developer, where she advised on project development and transactional matters for renewable energy assets. She also held roles supporting community-scale renewable energy projects, ESG-focused investment initiatives, and energy-related public policy and advocacy, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of the legal, commercial, and regulatory considerations facing clean energy clients.
