Overview
Katherine Van Gunst advises clients on a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, and financing. With experience across multiple sectors, Katherine provides practical guidance throughout all stages of her deals.
Katherine has prior experience as bond and outside counsel to state agencies and housing authorities, for which she represented issuers in connection with tax-exempt and taxable bond financings for affordable housing, exempt facilities, and nonprofit capital projects.
Previously, Katherine practiced civil litigation at international and boutique firms. In addition, Katherine served as a law clerk to the Honorable David R. Thompson of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and, during law school, as a judicial extern for the Honorable M. Margaret McKeown of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
