Jeannie Lihs is a PACE® Registered Paralegal in the Bankruptcy Section of Stoel Rives’ Corporate Practice Group.

Jeannie has worked in the legal field for more than 20 years, both as a paralegal and as a legal assistant.

Jeannie enjoys working closely with clients and attorneys to provide the highest quality representation. She is a “go-getter” and is often praised by clients and attorneys alike for the timeliness and quality of her work.

Experience

  • Prepares motions for relief from stay, proof of claims, fee applications, demand letters, complaints, default pleadings, registering foreign judgments, and post-judgment collection documents such as writs of execution and writs of garnishment.
  • Manages all aspects of foreclosure files, subject to final review and approval by responsible attorney.
  • Prepares and files UCC-1 and UCC-3 filing statements in various jurisdictions.
  • Extensive knowledge and filing experience with ECF/CM and PACER.
  • Prepares and maintains claims registers for large bankruptcy and receivership cases.
  • Attends 341(a) meetings on behalf of clients.
  • Monitors bankruptcy and litigation case dockets to protect client’s interests.
  • Prepares and records deeds and other real property documents.
  • Conducts title review and analysis.
  • Reviews and analyzes land surveys.
  • Orders Phase II reports on behalf of clients.
  • Conducts client intake interviews.
  • Prepares expungement documents and assist clients through the process.
