Overview
Hari Iyer is a commercial real estate attorney who represents real estate owners and developers, commercial lenders, nonprofit organizations, governmental entities, manufacturers, and automotive dealerships in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development projects, and the real estate components of corporate transactions.
His work includes drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, easements, deeds, estoppels, subordination and non-disturbance agreements, and related transaction documents. He advises on title, survey, zoning, contractual, and regulatory issues affecting commercial real estate projects and transactions, and supports clients through due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, and closing. His experience also includes asset purchase transactions, joint ventures, and use and zoning matters.
Additional experience includes supporting an offshore wind development project involving utility crossing agreements, easements, title review, and project route development. Before starting law school, Hari worked for nearly a decade as an Air Quality Specialist with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. That experience informs his work on environmental due diligence, environmental regulations, and environmental liability issues associated with real estate projects and business operations.
