Overview

Emily Seibold advises and represents clients in a variety of labor and employment matters, including administrative agency charges, civil litigation, and class actions. She represents employers in workplace disputes on a wide range of claims, including discrimination, wrongful termination, and wage and hour violations. Emily also advises on employment law compliance and represents employers in workplace investigations brought by the Washington State Human Rights Commission and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.

While attending law school, Emily was a judicial extern to the Honorable Suzanne R. Parisien of the King County Superior Court and a judicial intern to the Honorable Chief Judge Beth M. Andrus of the Washington State Division I Court of Appeals. She was a summer associate with Stoel Rives in 2023.

  • Represents various companies in large wage and hour class action disputes, including arguing for removal, assisting with complex discovery, and defense against class certification
  • Conducted and advised on significant internal investigation concerning potential discrimination and harassment
  • Assisted in obtaining full summary judgment in lawsuit arising from implementation of COVID-19 vaccination policy for healthcare workers
  • Analyzes and provides advice regarding employee handbooks, procedures, and guidelines
