About Dean

Dean Brower practices in Stoel Rives’ Environment, Land Use & Natural Resources group, where he focuses on project development and permitting compliance at the federal, state, and local level. Dean has performed environmental due diligence, coordinated permitting processes, and counseled clients on permit transfer requirements for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other financing transactions.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Dean was an associate with Kirkland & Ellis (2022–2023) and with K&L Gates (2020–2021). While attending law school, he was a judicial extern to the Honorable Nathanael Cousins of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California (2019) and a civil litigation intern with the Alaska Attorney General, Department of Law (2018).

  • Second-chaired Zoning Hearing Board land use appeal opposing construction of upstream gas station facility on behalf of major bottled-water company.

  • Represented Taymax Group, a portfolio company of Trilantic Capital Partners, in its acquisition of Saber Fitness.
