Overview
Ashley Lane concentrates her practice on construction and real estate matters, with a particular emphasis on disputes involving construction defects, delay and impact claims, commercial leases, and contract performance. She represents owners, developers, and general contractors through all stages of contested proceedings. In addition to counseling clients on avoiding protracted disputes through thoughtful negotiations and effective contract drafting, she resolves matters from start to finish—achieving outcomes through negotiation and mediation, and, when necessary, litigating or arbitrating to final decision.
Ashley’s advocacy centers on persuasive briefing, targeted motion practice, and efficient discovery to drive practical, business-aligned outcomes. She regularly coordinates with technical experts to build the evidentiary record and prepares trial and arbitration submissions. Her litigation experience also informs her transactional support in the construction and real estate space, where she proactively flags and mitigates risk in project documents and deal terms.
Before joining Stoel Rives, Ashley practiced at a leading international law firm as part of its nationally recognized construction law practice.
