Overview
Alexandra Choi Giza's practice is focused on complex business litigation, government investigations, antitrust litigation, and class action defense. Alexandra represents clients in all phases of litigation and government investigations, including responding to civil investigative demands and subpoenas, managing complex discovery disputes, and briefing critical motions. Alexandra has represented clients in state and federal court, as well as in private arbitration and mediation.
While attending Lewis & Clark Law School, she served as a judicial extern to Judge Youlee Yim You of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon and as a legal extern for the Catholic Charities of Oregon Immigration Legal Services.

Commercial Litigation Experience
- Obtained a complete defense award, including an award of costs against the claimant, in AAA arbitration on behalf of a medical records company facing a $7 million claim for alleged misuse of confidential client information in breach of a partnership agreement.
- Defended international real estate corporation and commercial property owner in class action lawsuit brought related to industrial fire.
- Represented a commercial real estate company in a lease dispute, achieving a favorable settlement following a successful motion for summary judgment.
- Represented a political data company in a contract and trade secret dispute before the Arbitration Service of Portland.
- Represented a public agribusiness company in FINRA arbitration brought by broker-dealer. Reached successful resolution.
Government Investigations Experience
- Represented a Fortune 500 company in response to an Oregon Department of Justice investigation under Oregon’s Unlawful Trade Practices Act.
- Represented a Fortune 500 company in response to an Alaska Department of Law investigation involving alleged violations of Alaska's Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Act.
- Represented an individual in an Oregon Department of Justice investigation concerning alleged violations of the Oregon False Claims Act.
Pro Bono Experience
- Defended two clients in a multiyear asylum immigration case, ultimately obtaining full relief for both clients.
- Defended client in convention against torture case before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
