Stoel Rives Welcomes Energy Development Attorney Bo Harvey to San Diego Office
Lateral hire expands Energy Development group’s ability to counsel clients on project financing and regulatory compliance.
SAN DIEGO — Stoel Rives LLP is pleased to announce that energy development attorney Bo Harvey has joined the firm in its San Diego office. Harvey brings to the firm eight years of experience in several areas that will strengthen the Energy Development group’s ability to assist its energy and utility clients.
Harvey focuses his practice on counseling energy industry participants in structuring project revenue contracts, including negotiating hedging structures and other offtake arrangements for renewable energy projects. He brings a strong understanding of financially- and physically-settled transactions documented under ISDA Master Agreements and related regulatory matters.

Earlier in his career, Harvey served as an associate for McGuireWoods LLP and Linklaters LLP. He has also served as assistant general counsel for a global alternative asset manager.
Harvey attended the University of California, San Diego before receiving his law degree from the Duke University School of Law and an MBA from Duke University Fuqua School of Business. He is licensed to practice in California and New York. He also holds CIPP/US certification through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
