Stoel Rives Names John Kauffman Office Managing Partner in Anchorage

Stoel Rives, an AmLaw 200 law firm, announced the appointment of partner John Kauffman to Office Managing Partner of the firm’s Anchorage office. Kauffman assumed the role on January 1, succeeding Jon Iversen who has served as office managing partner since 2020. In this role, Kauffman will oversee the office’s strategic direction, client service initiatives and continued growth in Alaska.

Kauffman brings more than 25 years of legal experience representing investors, entrepreneurs and corporate management in a variety of business and strategic matters. In particular, he represents Alaska Native Corporations in their complex M&A transactions in Alaska and throughout the United States. He earned his J.D. from Stanford Law School and his B.A from William & Mary.
