Stoel Rives LLP Headlining Seminar on Environmental Law in the Trump Administration

Stoel Rives LLP will be headlining a continuing legal education seminar, Environmental Law in the Trump Administration, chaired by Stoel Rives partner Beth Ginsberg and being held at the Hilton Garden Inn in Seattle on March 23. The Seminar Group, a provider of legal and professional education, is coordinating the seminar. Stoel Rives attorneys Timothy McMahan and Jason Morgan will also be participating in the seminar.

The seminar will focus on the environment-related priorities of the Trump Administration, its position on climate change and the impact on the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, Department of Interior and Department of Commerce.

“There is an abundance of uncertainty about the Trump Administration, its potential energy and environmental policies and the impact it will have on emerging and traditional markets,” said McMahan, chair of the Climate Change Initiative and an energy and natural resource partner in the firm’s Portland, Oregon office. “This seminar will focus on what we know thus far and discuss what might emerge in the months ahead. • State Legislation
• Aggressive State Regulation/Enforcement?
