The practice of law is more than a career — it is a calling. At Stoel Rives, we believe that pro bono service is an essential element of every attorney’s professional responsibility.
With Gratitude from Stoel Rives LLP
In a time when many families face unexpected food insecurity and navigate urgent legal challenges, we are deeply grateful for the trust our clients place in us. That trust inspires our commitment to give back. In our sixth annual Gratitude Campaign, we're supporting two essential pillars of community stability: food banks that provide emergency relief to families in need, and legal aid organizations that offer critical legal services to individuals who otherwise could not afford representation. Together with our partner organizations, we're helping ensure that people have both the resources and the legal support they need during some of life's most difficult moments.
Why Legal Aid Matters
Every year, our attorneys volunteer at legal aid clinics. They help people facing eviction, family crises, wage theft, and threats to their safety. These moments demand more than legal expertise. They require compassion, patience, and a belief that everyone deserves a fair shot at justice. That belief drives everything we do.
Gratitude in Action: Honoring Trust Through Service
Our attorneys and legal aid partners share what this work means to them.

"Pro bono work is important to me because there are problems in our society that need to be addressed and need the skills of an attorney. I have those skills and I want to spend my time doing it, and the firm is very supportive of it. I can't fix the whole world, but it's one thing I can do."

We're grateful to work with clients who share our values and inspire us to continue servicing the communities we call home. Thank you.
