Oregon’s New General Industrial Stormwater Permit No. 1200-Z

Join Stoel Rives’ environmental attorneys Michael Campbell and Laura Kerr for a webinar on Oregon’s new general industrial stormwater permit, the 1200-Z permit. Michael and Laura will provide attendees with an overview of the host of new and revised requirements in the permit, including:

• Numeric discharge limits and management measures for impairment pollutants
• Substantially revised discharge benchmarks
• Revised corrective action requirements and deadlines
• New provisions for infiltration and other “mass reduction devices,” including certification requirements and monitoring and corrective action exemptions
• Revised monitoring requirements, including an express requirement to sample “sheet flow”
• More limited monitoring waivers and more stringent criteria for obtaining them
• New monthly inspection requirements

The 1200-Z permit takes effect on July 1. Join us in May to prepare for what’s on the horizon.
