Paid Family Medical Leave takes effect in Oregon soon. The new program, which will be funded by employer contributions and employee payroll deductions starting January 1, 2023, provides paid leave for eligible employees starting in September 2023. This webinar will help employers with employees working in Oregon familiarize themselves with their obligations and options under the program. CLE credit will be applied for only in AK, CA, ID, OR, UT, and WA. For all other jurisdictions, a Certificate of Attendance will be provided to attendees for submission in other jurisdictions. Acceptance of certificates is determined by the submitted jurisdiction. Please note the CLE accreditation can take 2-6 weeks, but can be longer depending on the jurisdiction. To receive CLE credit, attendees must email cle@stoel.com after the program confirming their attendance and provide their jurisdictions and corresponding bar number(s).
