Experience
David is an associate practicing in the Technology and Intellectual Property practice group in the Salt Lake City office. His practice primarily focuses on helping clients procure, register, maintain, and protect trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. He also assists clients with intellectual property transactions, including licensing intellectual property rights as well as development and marketing of products and technology. Dave also advises clients navigating the federal and local laws and regulations regarding advertising. He also has experience with franchising matters, including franchise disclosure documents and compliance with applicable federal and local laws and regulations.
Prior to joining the firm, Dave served as the Director of Communications for Upward Reach, a Utah non-profit corporation. He was also a summer associate at Stoel Rives LLP in Salt Lake City in 2008 and a summer clerk for Judge Michael W. McConnell for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit in 2007.
