Overview
Travis Stadler is an associate in the Corporate practice group at Stoel Rives LLP and a member of the Energy Industry Group. He regularly advises renewable energy sponsors and developers on the structuring, planning, and negotiation of construction and term loan facilities, tax equity partnerships, tax credit sale transactions, cash equity investments, development loan facilities, joint ventures, inverted leases, and sale leasebacks.
Prior to joining Stoel Rives LLP, Travis worked at Ernst & Young in their International Tax and Transaction Services group where he led a team of professionals at varying levels across both domestic and international offices to provide tax planning, cross-border restructuring, acquisition and divestiture planning, and international tax compliance services.

- Assisted in the representation of sponsor in connection with a $650 million debt and tax equity financing of a 345 MWdc solar facility.
- Assisted in the representation of sponsor in the sale of $100 million in tax credits.
- Assisted in the representation of Dimension Energy in connection with a $284 million construction and tax equity bridge loan financing and equity joint venture for the construction of a 122 MWdc portfolio of 30 solar projects located in Delaware, Illinois, Maine, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Virginia.
- Assisted in the representation of Pine Gate Renewables in connection with a $290 million back leverage debt financing of over 778 MWdc of solar projects in Texas and Alabama and the execution of its first sale of tax credits from the underlying projects.
- Assisted in the representation of sponsor in the private placement of long-term notes and a letter of credit facility to refinance 15 operational solar and wind projects.
- Assisted in the representation of Dimension Energy in connection with a $237 million construction and term loan financing for the construction of a 120 MWdc portfolio of 28 solar projects located in New York, New Jersey, Virginia, and California.
- Assisted in the representation of AES Clean Energy Development in connection with the tax equity financing of Lancaster Area Battery, a 127 MW standalone battery storage project in California.
- Assisted in the representation of Pivot Energy in securing $190 million in debt and tax equity financing for the construction of a 90 MWdc portfolio of 47 solar projects across six states.
