About Tim
Tim Nicholson is an associate in the Corporate group and represents clients across a wide range of industries in corporate law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, contract drafting and negotiation, and corporate governance, as well as real property issues, with a special emphasis on the forest products, general agriculture and agribusiness sectors.
Before his legal career, Tim farmed in the Willamette Valley and operated in the agribusiness sector over the course of more than 15 years. Tim’s experience on his family’s farm in Silverton, Oregon—one of the largest flower seed farms in the world—involved the production and harvest of more than 500 different seed crops, as well as Christmas trees and livestock. Between 2008 and 2013, Tim managed the business operations of two agricultural companies specializing in the distribution of native and introduced grass, wildflower, grain and legume seeds throughout the United States and four international markets.
Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Tim was an associate and summer associate at K&L Gates LLP, a summer associate at Cooley LLP, and a summer associate at Fetherston Edmonds LLP.
