About Sylvia

Sylvia Arostegui is a partner in the Real Estate group and brings deep real estate, business, finance and project development experience in a wide variety of industries, including real estate, traditional and renewable energy, residential and commercial development, mixed-use development, hospitality, and healthcare.

In her real estate and project development practice, Sylvia assists developers, borrowers and lenders, landlords and tenants, and investors and land owners in the full spectrum of business, financial and commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition; disposition; project development and construction; ground, office and retail leases; easement and access agreements; title; site control; and construction contracts.

Sylvia’s significant financial and business services experience makes her a valued advisor in all aspects of financial and lending transactions and negotiation of business contracts, including construction financing, asset-based financing, seller financing, mezzanine financing, loan workouts, defeasances of loans and forbearances.

Sylvia has also assisted renewable energy project developers in all of their real estate and project development needs.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Sylvia was a partner at Nossaman LLP (2012–2015), a senior associate at Trainor Fairbrook (2003–2012), and an associate at Latham & Watkins LLP (2000–2003).
