About Paul

Paul Skjerven is an of counsel attorney in Stoel Rives’ Technology & Intellectual Property group who has broad experience in complex transactions, SaaS, licensing, financing, M&A and IPO, corporate governance, entity formation, IP litigation management, and product counseling. Currently, Paul focuses his practice on drafting and negotiating various types of technology agreements, including inbound and outbound IP licensing for hardware and software. Paul has represented a wide range of clients, including technology startups, semiconductor manufacturers, and Fortune 500 companies.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Paul served as in-house counsel, general counsel, or legal counsel for a variety of companies—from preformation to multinational—in the semiconductor, software, hardware, and services industries.
