About Pam

Pam Franks is a paralegal in the Employee Benefits Practice Group. Her work on client service teams includes compliance reviews of required disclosure obligations under ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, COBRA, HIPAA and PPACA. She assists with drafting summary plan descriptions, automatic enrollment notices, safe harbor notices and COBRA notices. Pam works to help clients keep a wide range of benefits plans in compliance, including both single and multiple employer pension plans, 401(k) plans, welfare wrap documents, cafeteria plans and retiree health plans. She helps clients with obtaining IRS determination letters on their tax-qualified plans and with filings under both the IRS and DOL correction programs when compliance errors are made.
