About Caulin

Caulin Price is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Real Estate group. He has experience drafting a variety of real estate documents, including purchase and sale agreements, lease agreements, trust deeds, promissory notes, and operating agreements. Though Caulin’s focus is on real estate transactions, he also has experience litigating various real estate and business disputes, giving him useful insights on which provisions are problematic and how to draft clear, favorable ones.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Caulin was an associate and summer associate with Dunn Carney LLP. He was also a judicial extern to the Honorable Rives Kistler of the Oregon Supreme Court and to the Honorable Jolie Russo of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon. Caulin worked on an intensive care unit in Salt Lake City, Utah, as a health unit coordinator before going to law school.

  • Drafted corporate merger agreements, asset purchase agreements, and stock purchase agreements.
  • Assisted a landowner in the negotiation and drafting of documents related to a solar energy project, including reviewing lease agreement and land-remediation agreements with the solar energy company.
  • Advised landlords on various landlord/tenant matters, including those related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the relevant government responses.
