About Ellen

Ellen Ostrow represents major stakeholders, including secured and unsecured creditors, asset purchasers, debtors, committees, trustees, and receivers, in bankruptcy cases and creditors’ rights litigation. She has represented multiple unsecured creditors’ committees in the bankruptcies of manufacturers, event operators, and health food suppliers; Chapter 11 debtors in bankruptcies in the entertainment, mining, and housing industries; and various creditors, including major power purchase agreement creditors in energy industry bankruptcies and suppliers in large retail bankruptcies.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Ellen was an associate with Holland & Hart LLP (2015–2019) and served as the law clerk for Chief Judge William T. Thurman of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Utah (2013–2015).
