About Maggie
Margaret (“Maggie”) Dalton is a partner in the firm’s business litigation group. Maggie represents a wide variety of clients in all phases of complex commercial and employment litigation in both federal and state court, and in arbitration.
Maggie has broad experience managing business disputes involving claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and tortious interference. Maggie also has significant experience representing employers and their employees in non-compete and discrimination litigation. Maggie also represents lenders and mortgage loan servicing companies in mortgage-related litigation arising under federal and state consumer protection laws, including the Truth in Lending Act, the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and unfair trade practices statutes. Maggie’s practice area covers a broad range of industries, including energy, food and beverage, agribusiness, medical devices, and real estate.
Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Maggie worked as an associate for Kirkland & Ellis LLP in San Francisco, as a volunteer misdemeanor attorney for the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, and as a law clerk for the Honorable Ann D. Montgomery, United States District Court for the District of Minnesota.
