About Noah

Noah Morss is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Labor & Employment group, where he focuses on employment-related litigation. Noah has a passion for protecting the interests of those he is fortunate enough to work with, and he brings energy and enthusiasm to every interaction. A former Deputy District Attorney, Noah has tried dozens of criminal cases and argued hundreds of contested court hearings. He has experience in alternative dispute resolution, including participating in the settlement of multiple cases through the mediation process.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Noah was an Associate with Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, LLP (2020–2021); and a Deputy District Attorney with the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office (2017–2020). While attending law school, he was a legal extern to the Honorable Magistrate Judge John V. Acosta of the United States District Court for the District of Oregon (2016).

Noah was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and loves being part of the community. Comfortable in any crowd, Noah is able to communicate and advocate with care and respect. Noah’s greatest joy is his family, and he can often be found playing with his young children.

  • Successfully defended an employer in a Bureau of Labor and Industries investigation that was initiated by a former employee, who alleged that they were subject to age discrimination and adverse employment actions.
  • Helped settle a significant and sensitive race-based discrimination lawsuit.
