Employers came to Keelin to advise them on a range of complex employment issues such as ADA accommodation and leave law, non-competition agreements, and employee classification. Keelin listened to what employer’s goals were when facing EEOC charges, arbitrations and employment litigation and, working with a team where appropriate, provided efficient representation. Clients sought out Keelin to conduct investigations and mediations to limit risk and avoid expensive litigation. She provided engaging workplace training to managers and employees.

Keelin was a volunteer mediator in a very successful program that provides mediation to parties in small claims court.

  • Chief bargainer for health care entity on six collective bargaining agreements. Four of the agreements were completed in less than two months.
  • Ninth Circuit upheld dismissal of sexual harassment case where non-employee doctor was accused of touching a nurse once in a sexual manner. The federal district court found that, even if it did occur, one touching incident did not constitute actionable sexual harassment.
  • Conducted multiple, complex employment investigations for employers including government entities and Indian Tribes.
