About Monica

Monica focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and tax matters.

She has prior experience in consulting for local small businesses on entity formation issues, safeguarding intellectual property rights, and drafting commercial contracts. Monica also has in-house experience (Avalara, Inc.), where she reviewed and negotiated commercial contracts, performed due diligence on numerous acquisitions, and participated in various SEC filing and stock financing processes. In 2019, Monica was a summer associate for Stoel Rives where she gained experience in matters related to corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and qualified opportunity zones. Prior to her legal career, Monica also worked in regulatory compliance with affordable housing tax credits.

Outside of the law, Monica enjoys golfing, fishing, exploring the Pacific Northwest, and baking desserts.
