About Christal

Christal Harrison-Delgado is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Real Estate, Development & Construction group. Christal advises companies on a variety of commercial real estate transactions including affordable housing projects, financing, acquisitions, sales, commercial leasing, and due diligence review. Christal helps clients keep projects on task, mitigate risk, and realize investment of real property assets.

Christal is originally from Arizona and received her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She then moved to Washington to attend the University of Washington School of Law. After law school, Christal clerked for the Honorable Ronald E. Cox (ret.) at the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division One, in Seattle. Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Christal was a corporate associate advising companies on corporate governance and merger/acquisition transactions at law firms in Seattle and Tacoma.

Experience

  • Part of a team that represented a real estate investor and developer in the $802 million sale of two lakefront blocks in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood. The sale price for the 635,000-square-foot property set a per-square-foot record for a Seattle office asset as of February 2022.
  • Representation of Sea Mar Community Health Centers in the acquisition and financing of a newly constructed four-story apartment building in Seattle that will be used to provide 39 units of affordable housing.
  • Drafted a variety of agreements for real estate or business transactions, including purchase and sale agreements, financing agreements, leases and easements for commercial property, corporate governance agreements, non-disclosure agreements, professional service agreements, security agreements, and licenses.
  • Conducted legal research and analysis for a variety of real estate and corporate issues and performed title review and due diligence investigations.
