About Blake

Blake is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Corporate group. He assists clients with mergers and acquisitions, financings and corporate and securities matters, with a focus on renewable energy projects.

Blake is a member of the firm’s COVID-19 Task Force, a cross-practice, cross-jurisdictional team dedicated to coordinating guidance for clients impacted by the global coronavirus pandemic.

During law school, Blake was a member of the University of Washington School of Law’s Entrepreneurial Law Clinic, where he assisted clients with early-stage corporate, copyright, and trademark matters.

  • Represented Greenbacker Renewable Energy Corporation in tax equity financing and related debt financing transactions for solar energy development projects.
  • Represented renewable energy company in sale-leaseback acquisition of solar energy projects.
  • Represented 1st Source Bank in its debt and equity financing of an approximately 7.287 MWdc solar project with a 5.0 MWdc coupled battery energy storage system developed by Agilitas Energy in Massachusetts.

  • Represented international private equity fund in cross-border majority equity investment in and partnership with California agriculture company.
  • Represented multi-employer benefit plan third party administrator in competitive auction and majority equity sale to private equity firm specializing in technology-enabled service and software companies.
  • Represented private equity healthcare company in multiple strategic acquisitions of hospice and home care companies.
  • Represented provider of association health plans and employee benefits services in majority equity sale to national insurance brokerage group.
  • Represented East Asia-based strategic acquiror in connection with proposed acquisition of U.S. privately held food-processing business.
  • Represented regional landscaping company in connection with $50 million sale of business and assets.
