Before joining Stoel Rives, Fred was a paralegal with a regional, multispecialty law firm in its litigation and municipal practices, with a medical malpractice defense law firm, and with an insurance defense law firm engaged in representation of public entities in complex litigation. Formerly an attorney, Fred operated a small law firm in Virginia that specialized in Guardian ad litem representation of children, criminal defense of juveniles and adults, and representation of parents in custody, support, and child abuse cases.
