Overview
Erica Valli is a partner in the Corporate practice group and has extensive experience representing clients in significant business transactions. Erica helps clients across industries navigate complex domestic and international transactions and has specific expertise assisting clients in the energy space.
She represents sponsors, borrowers, and lenders on a variety of complex debt financing transactions, including leveraged acquisition financings, syndicated credit facilities, private placements, asset-backed financings, and project financing. She also regularly represents sponsors, developers, and investors in the acquisition and sale of operating and development-stage renewable energy projects.
Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Erica worked for a number of years in London at a top-tier international law firm.

- Represented developer regarding the sale of a portfolio of 21 operational solar projects in New York and Maryland totaling almost 60 MW of distributed generation assets.
- Represented a public company regarding the acquisition of approximately 88 MW of operating distributed generation solar projects across the U.S.
- Represented DIF Capital Partners regarding the acquisition of a majority interest of Green Street Power Partners, a developer, financier, owner, and operator of over 300 MW of distributed generation solar projects in the U.S.
- Represented a joint venture in connection with its asset sale related to waste-to-renewable natural gas facility in Oregon.
- Represented sponsor in connection with the acquisition of projects, aggregate 900 MW solar capacity plus the potential for battery energy storage, in Arizona.

- Represented an international infrastructure fund in connection with its acquisition of a controlling stake in 183 MW wind project in Idaho.
