Overview

Elena helps businesses protect and leverage their creativity and intellectual property assets. She provides comprehensive brand enforcement services—including trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and domain names—and drafts licensing and commercial agreements that support growth and innovation. Elena also conducts intellectual property due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring clients identify risks, safeguard value, and achieve smooth transactions.

Prior to joining Stoel, she served as a judicial extern to Judge Danielle J. Forrest of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, Judge Ted Stewart of the U.S. District Court for the District of Utah, and Justice John A. Pearce of the Utah Supreme Court.
