About J.B.

J.B. Evans is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Corporate group. J.B. maintains a wide practice that includes bankruptcy, insolvency, and credit finance and provides practical, strategic advice to clients to help them resolve their bankruptcy and creditors’ rights disputes efficiently and effectively. J.B. has experience representing small businesses under the new Subchapter V bankruptcy law and also regularly represents creditors, landlords, and trustees in larger chapter 11 and chapter 7 cases. He assists clients in workout agreements and loan enforcement, as well as with revolving credit, structured financing, and securitization transactions.

Before joining Stoel Rives, J.B. acquired valuable practical experience in bankruptcy court working as a term law clerk for the Honorable Joseph M. Meier of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Idaho (2018–2019).
