Overview
Cameron Sheldon represents employers in a range of labor and employment matters, drawing on substantial experience advising and defending a large federal agency on complex workplace issues. Her practice focuses on employment disputes, internal investigations, and counseling management on compliance and risk mitigation in highly regulated environments.
She has significant litigation experience, including managing discovery, taking and defending depositions, briefing dispositive motions, and appearing before administrative law judges to argue discovery and procedural issues and shape case strategy. Cameron has achieved several favorable outcomes through strategic mediation and negotiated resolutions.
In addition to her dispute resolution work, Cameron is a trusted advisor to management and nonprofits, known for translating complex legal frameworks into clear, practical guidance. Before joining Stoel Rives, Cameron served as an attorney in the Office of the Chief Counsel of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection and was a staff attorney and legal director with a South Seattle nonprofit.
