About Tyler

Tyler Clarke represents clients in complex real estate transactions, with a focus on the agricultural, timber, vineyard and renewable energy sectors. Tyler has advised clients throughout the country and across industries and asset classes, ranging from office, multifamily, and industrial developments in urban areas to farmland, timberland, and vineyard transactions. He has advised on a number of renewable energy projects, including renewable natural gas, solar and wind energy projects. He also represents clients in the real estate aspects of M&A transactions.

Before joining Stoel Rives, Tyler was an associate (2013–2019) and summer associate (2012) for Jones Day in Dallas, Texas. While in law school, he was a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Paul Papak of the U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon.

  • Representation of real estate investment trust in its $20 million acquisition of an industrial facility in Ohio.
  • Representation of real estate investment trust in its $13 million acquisition of an industrial facility in Mississippi.
  • Representation of timberland investment management organization (TIMO) in the acquisition of approximately 646,700 acres of timberlands and other assets in the upper peninsula of Michigan.
  • Representation of vineyard in the disposition of 45-acre property in Washington’s Red Mountain AVA.
  • Representation of vineyard in the acquisition of 150+ acre property in Monterey County, California.
  • Representation of senior housing developer in the acquisition of undeveloped city block in Portland’s Pearl District.
  • Representation of developer in the acquisition of 75,000-square-foot industrial building in Maricopa County, Arizona.
  • Representation of municipality in lease and sale negotiations of golf course in southern Oregon.
